Chamonix, France

We traveled to Chamoix, France last night. Our place is clean but small. Is has a trundle bed on wheels which Lindsay fell in love with.   Chamonix is very pretty. It's a green valley but the alps jut out of it at an incredibly steep angle. There is a glacier creeping down one mountain & very thick snow on one slope. Other ski runs look almost vertical.

We had a pizza dinner last night in the view of the alps. I managed the language barrier ok & ordered Lindsay goat cheese once I remembered the French word for it from the Trader Joe's label. I kept mushrooms off of Tom's pizza by pointing at the menu. It's not easy!

Scottish Festival 2014

I went to a Scottish festival. There was a clan Lindsay! I saw magic show and my cousin Rebecca was there. She was bored the whole time. I got to shoot arrows and almost got a bullseye. I had fun. 

Mother's Day 2014

Lunch at Mozza, then someone refused to take a photo w a normal face. Of course in the one photo where Lindsay looks normal, I made a weird face.

Poppy reserve

We went to the poppy reserve on May 4, 2014. It was very windy. We walked around for about two hours.

I hated seeing you as an adult in training, pulling your load behind you, dragging it up the stairs, inevitable burden.

Point Dume Hike

Today we went to Point Dume.We went on a hike which was rilly short. GUESS WHAT? What? I praciced my cartwheels.

The beach was beautiful. we hiked for a while along a cliff, then found some tidepools that had huge starfish in them. We also got to watch the sunset.
